*Note April 2024 - staff who are pregnant, on maternity/adoption or shared parental leave, or have returned from one of these types of leave and the child was born or placed for adoption within the last 18 months now have additional rights under the Protection from Redundancy (Pregnancy and Family leave) Act 2023.   Some letters, marked below, are currently being updated 

End of fixed term contract template letters

For staff with MORE than two years’ continuous service (or where Protection from Redundancy (pregnancy and family leave) Act 2023 provisions apply)

For staff with LESS than two years’ service

* April 2024 - Where staff who are at risk of redundancy are pregnant, on maternity/adoption or shared parental leave, or have returned from one of these types of leave and the child was born or placed for adoption within the last 18 months please contact the HR Policy team for alternative template letters
