• Charter for the Career Development of Researchers 

This concise document lists the University’s commitments to support researchers’ career development, the responsibilities of researchers and their PIs/line managers. 

The Charter was developed in collaboration with colleagues across divisions and central University to replace the Code of Practice for the employment and career development of research staff and fulfil our commitments to the national Researcher Development Concordat and our own Concordat Action Plan 2022-2025. 

• The Researcher Hub web pages bring together many resources for researchers and those who support researchers. 

• The Researcher’s Trailmap signposts researchers to personal, research, and career development opportunities across different stages of their time at Oxford. 

• The Careers Service for research staff provides targeted support for those looking at career support. 

 Please note that divisions, departments/faculties also provide tailored resources for researchers.
